Renato Sanches joins French champions Paris St-Germain

French giants Paris Saint-Germain have announced the signing of Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches.

The youngster has signed a five-year contract with the French club until 30 June 2027. The transfer move was finalised for a fee of €15 million (£12.5m/$15m), €10m.

Renato Sanches made his professional with Benfica during the 2015-16 season.

He signed for Bayern Munich in the summer of 2016 and played 53 times for the Bavarian club. 

Renato Sanches failed to impress in Germany and was loaned to Swansea City, in the EPL, for the 2017-18 season.

The Portuguese signed for Lille OSC in August 2019 and won the French Ligue championship and the Trophée des Champions in 2021.

Renato Sanches earned his first international cap for Portugal in March 2016, at 18 years of age.
