Veteran opener and present Vice-Captain of the team, Rohit Sharma is likely to lead Team India in the T20I series against New Zealand. Who will be the next captain of India in T20 after Virat Kohli’s resignation?
It has been reported that after playing continuously for a long time, many regular players will be rested for this series. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya are expected to get dropped while Shreyas Iyer and Ruturaj Gaikwad are in contention for the T20Is.
There is another twist in this situation also. Taking into consideration the fatigue of the players due to the bubble life, some senior players will be rested for the T20I series against New Zealand.
