Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the current Manchester United manager. He was appointed as the permanent manager of Premier League giants on March 28 2019. He succeeded Jose Mourinho who was sacked in December 2018. Initially Ole was appointed as the care taker coach of the club but his highly-successful stint with the club led to his appointment as the permanent coach on a three-year deal.

The sacking of Ole has been issue for a long time. But the issue has been aggravated since Manchester United had to face the 4-2 defeat against Leicester. The situation got worse when Liverpool thrashed United 5-0 at Old Trafford. Any manager who loses 5-0 at home to their bitter rivals comes under the radar of the management regarding his future. For Ole, that scrutiny is intensified and the time has came.
