CSK Squad 2023: Batsmen
In IPL 2021, CSK had the best opening combination of Faf du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad. Unfortunately, CSK lost Faf du Plessis to RCB, CSK bought Devon Conway as the replacement of Faf. Now Ben Stokes is all there. There is some doubt over the opening combination of the team in IPL 2023.
Ruturaj Gaikwad will be there to support Conway. Ruturaj’s stakes have been very high after being retained by CSK ahead of the Auction. Opening will definitely not going to be a problem for CSK. CSK will have the same middle-order as in IPL 2021 final.

The team have the best wicket-keeper, MS Dhoni. Dhoni has not been so good in the last few seasons with the bat but there has never been any issue with his keeping. Raydu is also able to keep the gloves for team.
