Why Aaron Finch is not playing in ODI World Cup 2023?
Finch is not playing for Australia at the ODI World Cup in India because the player has already announced his retirement from international cricket. Finch remained the captain of Austrian Cricket Team for a long time. He represented his nation in 254 international matches across all formats, playing five Tests, 146 ODIs and 103 T20Is. Finch led Australia in a world record 76 men’s T20Is, as well as in 55 ODIs. Finch announced his retirement from ODIs on 9 September, 2022 but continue to represent the team in T20s and later on retired from all formats on 6 February 2023.
