KL Rahul will lead India against South Africa in the ODI series. Neither Gill nor Rohit Sharma has been included in India’s ODI Squad. Ruturaj Gaikwad is all set to open the innings will skipper KL Rahul. Sanju Samson has got a place in India’s squad after a long time and is likely to get a place in playing XI too. Axar Patel is fit to play and will feature in the playing XI. Jadeja is not included in ODI squad therefore Washington Sundar might get a chance. Veteran spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has been called up to the ODI squad and there are high chances that the duo of Chahal and Kuldeep will feature in the ODI series.
De Kock has announced his retirement from the ODI format whereas Temba Bavuma is not available for ODIs. Rassie van der Dussen is likely to open the innings for South Africa.
