Why Robert Lewandowski left Bayern Munich?

The basic reason as to why Lewa wants to leave Bayern is that he wants to pursue a new challenge. The Poland striker has achieved everything he can at Bayern Munich. Since joining Bayern in 2014, Lewandowski has won the Bundesliga title every year. He also lifted the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, the FIFA Club World Cup, the DFB-Pokal (3), the German Super cup (5). So practically there’s nothing left for him to achieve. Besides winning team trophies, the player has also achieved a number of individual records. In the last season, Lewandowski broke Bayern’s legend Gerd Muller’s long-standing 49-year-old record of 40 goals in a single Bundesliga campaign. He has 41 strikes to his name. Therefore, it is very clear that he needs a new challenge in his career.

There are some reports that there is some friction between Lewandowski and some players in the squad of Bayern. The friction is especially with some youngsters in the squad.
