The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Player Auction took place in Dubai at the Coca-Cola Arena on December 19th, 2023. A total number of 333 cricketers were registered to go under the auction. Chennai Super Kings, the joint most successful team in IPL history went into auction with a purse of ₹31,40,00,000. CSK won the last edition of IPL and decided to retain most of its key players. - Mustafizur Rahman – Bought for his base price of ₹2 Crore
- Sameer Rizvi – With a base price of ₹20 lakh, CSK won the bid for ₹8.40 crore
- Daryl Mitchell – Chennai Super Kings took him for ₹14 crores
- Shardul Thakur – Bought by CSK for ₹4 crore
- Rachin Ravindra – Goes to CSK for ₹1.80 crore
- Avanish Rao Aravelly – CSK bought him for his base price of Rs. 20 lakh
