RR have done quite good in bowling department. Rajasthan Royals have spend a big amount on Prasidh Krishna, which makes him an invaluable asset for his team. Trent Boult will lead the pace attack of RR along with Prasidh Krishna.

Ashwin and Chahal are the two best players in their respective roles. The both will bring the much-desired experience in the spin bowling department for the Royals. They are veterans of IPL and could form a potent spin duo for RR in IPL 2023. RR also picked Adam Zampa at the IPL 2023 auctions but it will be difficult to get him a spot in Rajasthan Royals playing 11.

RR IPL 2023 Team Review

RR decided to retain Sanju Samson, Yashavi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler ahead of IPL 2023 Mega Auction. All three are openers. What was quite shocking is that, they spend a whooping amount of Rs. 7.75 cr. to bring in another opener, Devdutt Padikkal. It will be hard for the team management to manage the top four. They are strength as well as weakness of RR. Rajasthan’s overall IPL 2023 squad looks promising but they do not have many options on their bench.
