Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by 23 runs in the final of Asia Cup 2022 to lift its sixth Asia Cup title. Apart from the winners of the tournament, fans were awaiting to see that who will finish as the highest run-scorer of the tournament. Despite India’s elimination from the tournament, Virat Kohli had the chance to finish as Asia Cup’s top run-scorer. However it could not be done as Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan overtook India’s star batter Kohli in the final match to become the leading run-scorer of the 2022 Asia Cup. In the final against Sri Lanka, Rizwan scored 55 runs off 49 deliveries before getting dismissed by Hasaranga. The total of Rizwan came to 281 runs from six matches while Kohli finished at the second spot with a total of 276 runs in five matches.
