Portugal has announced its squad for the upcoming UEFA EURO 2024 in the month of June. The EUROs will be held in Germany this season. Portugal have to play against Czech Republic, Turkey and Georgia in the group stage. Portugal were the champions of EURO 2016 and 2018/19 Nations League. Star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has also been called up by his national team for probably his last international tournament. Some other big names in the Portugal squad are Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes, FC Porto’s Pepe and AC Milan’s Rafa Leao. The winners of the first season of UEFA Nations League comes up with big names as they prepare to win the World cup trophy. Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo and midfielder Bernardo Silva also made the cut to the squad. Coach Roberto Martinez has chosen a pretty strong Portugal side with star studded names.
