 On Friday, 2016 Euro Champions Portugal announced a 26-man squad for their 2022/23 UEFA Nations League campaign. Portugal were the champions of 2018/19 Nations League games. The team have announced this squad for the upcoming four matches to be played in June. Star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has also been called up by his national team for the start of a new campaign. Some other big names in the Portugal squad are Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes, FC Porto’s Pepe and RB Leipzig’s Andre Silva. The winners of the first season comes up with big names as they prepare to win the trophy one more time. Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo and midfielder Bernardo Silva also made the cut to the squad. Coach Fernando Santos has chosen a pretty strong Portugal side with star studded names.
